License Support

If you have recently purchased new software, or need to upgrade your existing software, please log on to our secure customer portal where you will find our software downloads. You can also find valuable information about our latest software updates, new feature information, FAQs, user forums, and more.
In order to install your software, you'll need a software license.

SIGMAXIM’s new License Support Request form will address all of your License Support needs. Use this form to request your license for your newly purchased software. If you are an existing SIGMAXIM customer, you may use this form to transfer your software license to a new server, request a new license for your recently upgraded software, or do both in one easy step.

Request Your Software License

To request a new software license, please complete this form. We will email your license file to the contact email provided shortly after we receive the form.

License Support Options

Please select the appropriate option(s) below and provide all applicable information. For new software licenses, select "New License". For any changes to your existing license, such as adding seats or new options, select "License Options Change". If you want to move your existing software license to a new server, select "License Transfer".  If you want to upgrade your current license to a new software version, select "Version update".
License Transfer Request

Software De-installation Agreement: By selecting the License Transfer option, you are accepting this agreement, and therefore, you acknowledge that you have completely de-installed software from the source machine(s) and optionally reinstalled on the destination machine(s) using one of the procedures described below: Option 1: All executable files for the software (including license server and old license file) have been deleted from customer’s disk files accessed by the CPU.  Option 2: The license.dat file (codes file) for the CPU will be updated for this server machine with a new license.dat file to reflect the licensing changes.  The license server will also be updated to use the new license.dat file reflecting the licensing changes.  Customer warrants that the software will not be reinstalled on the old CPU without first obtaining a proper license for its use from SIGMAXIM.

How do I find this? Within an active Creo (Pro/Engineer) session, select Tools>Technical Support Info.  In the resultant window, scroll down to the “Machine information” section, and look for “Host ID”.  This is the CPU ID required for generation of the license codes.  It is also known as the MAC address. Please note: If you are installing your license server software on more than one PC, you will need to complete a separate form for each license server.

Version Update Request

Do I need a new license file? For sofware release updates (for example, version 4.0 to 4.1, or 4.1 to 5.0), you will need a new license file that supports the new software version.  For new build codes (for example M050 to M060), you do not need a new license file.

Compatability with older releases. You can still use the old version of the software with the new license file. This works like Creo (Pro/Engineer) licensing.

Active maintenance contract required. This service is only available for SIGMAXIM customers with active maintenance contracts.  Customer warrants that only software with active maintenance contract with SIGMAXIM is being updated to the new release.
