Below are examples of some of custom development add-on software which automate manufacturing tasks inside Pro/ENGINEER.

Automatic Creation of Drawings and NC Data: 

This custom application provides fully automatic 3D modeling, drawing and NC data creation for extrusion nozzles using the output of an extrusion nozzle calculation software. In addition to creating the Pro/ENGINEER parts, assemblies and drawings, the application automatically creates the manufacturing assembly in Pro/NC, fully populated with all required NC toolpaths. 

 

Manufacturing Process Planning:

This Pro/ENGINEER add-on software greatly simplifies the manufacturing process planning of parts. It allows for defining and managing weld information, and for linking them to dimensions in Pro/ENGINEER parts. Additionally, it manages the output of turning and milling information, and the recognition and output of all other manufacturing feature information.

Custom Holechart Formats and Creation of NC Data:

This custom application analyses all hole types in Pro/ENGINEER models and lists all relevant manufacturing information in drawing tables. Additionally, the NC data is generated for input directly into CNC machines.

NC Data creation for Catalyst Matrices: 

This custom application automates the NC code creation tasks for drilling holes in matrices of tools. Based on the analysis of the basic geometry, hole diameter and grid distances, the drilling sequence is calculated, visualized and the NC code is generated.
